Our Third LP "Deepest Wellsprings of Being" is available on all platforms!
“A bizarre yet compelling mix of styles including post-punk, post-metal, post-rock, shoegaze, and sludge…With a shoegaze wall of sound and a post-rock delicacy to the vocals, it descends into abrasive, sludgy metal that’s absolutely destructive.” — New Noise Magazine
“Post-rock with the sound of Lynchian 90s shoegaze.” — Echoes & Dust
"A contrast in melody and drop-tuned sludge with airy vocals and heavy, heavy washes of six and four-string chordage.” — Decibel Magazine
“5/5 stars.” – Metal Epidemic
“This album is as atmospheric as it is heavy, filled with guitar textures and synth layers that paint dreamlike landscapes, only to be shattered by post-metal riffs and grunge undertones. Flourish manages to balance the ethereal with the crushingly real, wrapping moments of emotional beauty into a gritty, dystopian soundtrack.” – It’s Psychedelic Baby! Magazine
“The dynamics are massive, songs going from huge mounds of deep sludge to shallow pools of clear water blown by a light breeze and back again… This is fascinating stuff, perhaps best listened to for setting a mood.” – Jersey Beat
“Flourish is carving their own niche in the sonic cosmos, returning with a new single and video that’s sure to send shockwaves through the shoegaze scene… Get ready for Flourish to invade your headspace—this is only the beginning.” – StaticMultimedia
“The promise of a 90’s shoegaze influenced post-metal band with some interest in the “grunge” movement fits as they mix some heavier wandering post-metal guitar driven songs with sleepier alternative rock (“Towpath”), pieces which are close enough to post-hardcore in spirit to kinda work. With a big-ass production sound, dreary mood and mostly ~5-6 minute songs this one hits somewhere in between the run-on cinema of Pelican and the more pensive, slow-going side of more recent Quicksand releases” – Mystification
